An angry leader of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State Senator Iyiola Omisore has ejected the state chapter of the party from its secretariat in Osogbo.
Omisore is believed to have lost out in the battle for the control of the party in the state after the controversial congress which had edged him out of the control of the party.
the party office located at the OgoOluwa area along the Osogbo/Gbongan Road was said to have been paid for over the years by the former senator who was also defeated by the APC candidate Mr Rauf Aregbesola in the 2014 elections.
After the third attempt at a peaceful congress Omisore’s chairmanship candidate Bayo Faforiji was defeated in a congress that was also boycotted by his loyalists.
The faction of the party ejected has already secured an office space along Ikirun Road in the state capital.
