What a special reunion! When Patrick Schwarzenegger graduated from the University of Southern California on May 14, his divorced parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, came together to celebrate their son.
Patrick Schwarzenegger reached a milestone on May 14, when the 22-year-old actor graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Business. But to make the day even more exciting, both of his parents Arnold Schwarzenegger, 68, and Maria Shriver, 60, reunited to be by their son and watch him get his degree — despite their estranged status!
Posing in between Maria and Arnold, Patrick grinned from ear to ear in his cap, gown, and USC stole. “Wouldn’t be anywhere without these two. Thank you for everything and love yah both,” he captioned the sweet pic, which shows Arnold proudly smiling and Maria giving her son a smooch on the cheek.
As if it wasn’t sweet enough for Patrick’s parents to reunite for their son’s big day, both Arnold and Maria shared heartfelt messages on their personal Instagrams. They couldn’t contain how proud they were!
This is the first time we have seen Maria and Arnold together in a while, but clearly they couldn’t miss the momentous occasion. Arnold and Maria have been separated since 2011, when Arnold admitted to having an affair and fathering a child with his mistress.
Although their divorce is still not yet finalized, the two haven’t exactly hinted that they’ll be getting together anytime soon. But with one more son left to graduate college (Christopher Schwarzenegger, who is currently 18 years old), we know we’ll be seeing another Maria/Arnold reunion in the future!
