Manchester Derby: Kelechi Iheanacho, Ibrahimovic, Kolarov & Bravo On The Brink Of Making History If…

  • Manchester City teen forward Kelechi Iheanacho will make history if he gets among the goal scorers when Manchester United host bitter rivals Manchester City in the tie famously dubbed the Manchester Derby.

  • Already he has set a record of been the first Nigeria International to play in the tie, but the 19 year old who could start in the game in the absence of star forward Sergio Kun Aguero will go into the history books, if he finds the back of the net.
No Nigerian has ever scored in the derby game which has seen goals from 21 different nationals. A goal for the man whose wonder strike earned Nigeria a lone 1-0 win over Tanzania last weekend in a dead rubber AFCON 2017 tie will go into the record books as the first Nigerian to have scored in the tie.
Also on Saturday evening, Serbia international Aleksandar Kolarov, Chilean shot stopper Claudio Bravo and Swede superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic could all make history as well with a goal.
