Contrary to the report that the Ogun State Executives of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) had been dissolved, the South West chapter of the Society has debunked the claim alleging foul play.
The Zonal Co-ordinator of the society, Mallam Mushafau Alaran, in a statement issued in Abeokuta urged the public to disregard the report of dissolution of executive of Ogun state unit of the body.
Some sections of the media had reported the purported dissolution of the state executive of the society where one Yahya Hassan was reported to have been sworn in as its new leader.
Alaran, who described the action as “a serious case of insurgency, impersonation, rebellion and usurping of power” urged the general public, religious leaders and groups, media, security agencies and the state government to be wary of the strange group to avoid insurgency.
He said thst the leadership of Mallam Saheed Amisu in the state was intact, urging the security operatives to go after the orchestrators of the false information.
