Former Golden Eaglets star, Ogaba is dead


Former Golden Eaglets player, Peter Ogaba, is reported to have died in his Abuja home after a brief illness.

He was the youngest player at the 1987 junior World Cup in Canada as well as the U20 World Cup in Saudi Arabia in 1989.

Ogaba coached Lobi Stars of Makurdi between 2006 and 2009.

The news of his demise was confirmed to newsmen by Assistant Director of Media of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ademola Olajire on Friday.

He was until his death the Coach of an Abuja based side, City Strikers Football Club.
