Supporters of the Premier League club have taken over the comments section of their manager's latest Instagram post, imploring him not to offload the German midfielder.


Manchester United fans have bombarded Jose Mourinho's Instagram page, urging their manager not to sell midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The 32-year-old German, who has now retired from international football, has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit, with Mourinho reportedly looking to offload a number of first-team stars.

With Paul Pogba on the verge of completing a world-record 92 million pound ($123M) move from Juventus, reports suggest Mourinho has now deemed Schweinsteiger surplus to requirements, despite the club having only signed him in summer 2015-16.

And a number of United fans clearly aren't happy with the situation, with the former Chelsea boss seeing his latest Instagram post plastered with comments containing the #SaveSchweinsteiger hashtag, begging him not to sell.
