The 19-year-old disclosed the news himself yesterday in a video he posted on YouTube and expressed his excitement at another significant step in his fledgling career.
In the YouTube video, the young impressive midfielder mentioned that he was born in Nigeria but raised in England.
He also talked about his long-time admiration for the brand, stating that his first pair of boots were the Mercurial Vapours worn by the legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry. He went on to state that “they were very comfy”.
He said: “I’ve always been a fan of Nike, and to be associated with players like Neymar, [Cristiano] Ronaldo, [Mario] Gotze [who are] big players, and to say I’m involved with that is just an honour”.
