A former Minister of Environment Laurentia Laraba Mallam under former President Goodluck Jonathan has been kidnapped.
According to The Leadership, she was kidnapped on Monday night alongside her 73-year old husband Mr Pius in Jere, area of Kagarko local government in Kaduna State.
The couple were kidnapped while on their way to Abuja from Kaduna.
The kidnappers shot the driver of the former minister on his left hand.
According to a source they are demanding a ten million naira ransom before they release them.
